Long Ride The Rodeo Cowboy

Long ride the rodeo cowboy,
Long ride.
Counting down, he hangs on,
One second passes,
Long ride.

Twist right, hang on, twist left,
Ride long.
Counting down, eternal dream,
The clock ticks two, don't let go,
Long ride.

Riding high, twisting low,
The clock ticks three, a lifetime goes,
Long ride, Brave Cowboy,
Hang on tight, my hero,
Long ride.

Seconds pass, or is it years?
Cowboy prays, bull offers fear,
Brave cowboy rides above the cheers
Of throngs of fans he cannot hear.
Long ride, dear cowboy, long ride.

The buzzer sounds, eight seconds gone,
Cowboy leaps; the ride is done.
How long the ride?
Nobody knows,
But the rodeo cowboy lives on.

Long ride.
